A former corporate sales maven, Liz Perry is passionate about helping animals, helping people and building community with her neighbors. Today, she lives out this passion as owner of Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz; though her devotion to needy animals has been lifelong.
Liz opened Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz on Lakeside Street in Madison, WI on December 10, 2006, finally realizing a dream that she first had eight years earlier after store-sitting for good friends who happened to be owners of her neighborhood pet products store in Chicago.
Since opening her doors, Liz has playfully curated a unique, welcoming and fun atmosphere at Nutzy Mutz & Crazy Catz , where neighbors come for the natural and sustainably sourced pet-products, but stay for the expertise and friendship offered by Liz and her people-loving team.
True to form, Liz makes sure that once-homeless animals reign supreme in her stores. You can meet (and pet!) Park St. shop cats, Melina, Kiki and Cheerio, as well as their Midvale Boulevard friends, Davina and Griz. Reuben the Rooster occasionally joins the crew as well.
